CleanUpPro is a privacy-first storage cleanup app provided by OhMyApps. This Privacy Policy explains what CleanUpPro accesses on your device, how that information is used, and the choices you have.
CleanUpPro is designed so that your photos, videos, contacts, scan results, and cleanup decisions stay on your device. CleanUpPro does not operate an account system, does not use an external backend, does not include analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not sell your personal information for money.

Information CleanUpPro Accesses on Your Device
CleanUpPro may access the following information only when the relevant system permission is granted or when iOS or iPadOS provides the information for app functionality.
Photos and Videos
CleanUpPro uses photo library access to:
- Find duplicate or similar photos.
- Identify screenshots.
- List large videos.
- Preview photos and videos inside the app.
- Compress selected videos.
- Save compressed videos back to your photo library when you choose to do so.
- Delete selected photos or videos when you confirm the action.
Photos and videos are analyzed on-device. CleanUpPro does not send your media library to OhMyApps.
If you use iCloud Photos, Apple Photos may download or stream thumbnails, originals, or video assets from iCloud to your device so CleanUpPro can display, scan, compress, or save the items you choose to work with. That Apple platform activity is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. OhMyApps does not receive those files.
Contacts
CleanUpPro uses Contacts access to:
- Find duplicate contacts.
- Identify incomplete contacts.
- Preview merge results.
- Merge selected duplicate contacts when you confirm the action.
- Delete selected contacts when you confirm the action.
Contacts are analyzed on-device. CleanUpPro does not send your address book to OhMyApps.
Device Storage Information
CleanUpPro reads device storage information so it can show storage usage and estimate potential cleanup savings.
App Settings and Local State
CleanUpPro stores app settings and local app state on your device, including:
- Whether onboarding has been completed.
- The last scan date.
- Local scan caches that help future scans run faster.
- Local photo library identifiers and perceptual image hashes used for duplicate detection.
This local state is stored using Apple platform storage such as UserDefaults, Core Data, temporary files, and app support files. Local caches do not give OhMyApps access to your photos, videos, contacts, or cleanup decisions.
Information OhMyApps Collects
In the current version, CleanUpPro does not collect personal data from normal app usage and does not transmit your photos, videos, contacts, scan results, cleanup decisions, or local cache data to OhMyApps.
If you contact OhMyApps for support, we may receive information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message content, screenshots, diagnostic details, or other information included in your request. We use support information only to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, improve support, and maintain necessary business records.
App Store Purchase
CleanUpPro is sold as a paid app download through the Apple App Store. Apple processes App Store purchases, taxes, receipts, family sharing where available, and refunds according to Apple’s policies. OhMyApps does not receive your payment card number or full billing details.
Tracking, Analytics, and Advertising
CleanUpPro does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
CleanUpPro does not include third-party analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs in the current version.
CleanUpPro does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How Information Is Used
CleanUpPro uses information available on your device to:
- Provide photo, screenshot, video, and contact cleanup features.
- Estimate storage usage and potential savings.
- Save app preferences and local scan caches.
- Perform video compression and temporary file cleanup.
- Respond to support requests when you contact OhMyApps.
How Information Is Shared
CleanUpPro does not sell your personal information for money.
CleanUpPro does not share your photos, videos, contacts, scan results, or cleanup decisions with OhMyApps servers.
Information may be processed by Apple as part of Apple platform services such as the App Store, iCloud, Photos, Contacts, system permissions, and device storage APIs. Those services are governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
We may disclose information you send directly to OhMyApps only when necessary to:
- Respond to your support request.
- Operate and protect CleanUpPro and OhMyApps.
- Comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable government request.
- Protect the rights, safety, and security of users, OhMyApps, Apple, or others.
Data Retention
CleanUpPro keeps app settings and local scan caches on your device until you delete them, reset the app, uninstall the app, or the app removes stale cache data.
Temporary files created during video compression are intended to be removed after processing.
Support emails or messages you send to OhMyApps may be retained as needed to respond to your request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Your Choices
You can:
- Grant, limit, or revoke Photos access in iOS or iPadOS settings.
- Grant or revoke Contacts access in iOS or iPadOS settings.
- Delete local CleanUpPro app data by removing the app from your device.
- Contact OhMyApps with privacy questions or deletion requests related to information you sent to us directly.
If you revoke a permission, related cleanup features may stop working until permission is granted again.
Children
CleanUpPro is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to OhMyApps, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Security
CleanUpPro is designed to minimize data transfer by processing cleanup results locally on your device. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but CleanUpPro’s local-first design reduces the amount of personal information sent outside your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of CleanUpPro after an updated policy becomes available means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
